Rahyab Hamrah

Rahyab Hamrah (Mobile Navigator), Iran’s first GPS-based mobile map, was built two years before Google Maps and before the iPhone era began. It also served as a pocket yellow pages and became quite popular, with millions of users at the time. However, widespread software piracy in the country ultimately led to the failure of the startup behind it.
